Systems Engineer - Secure Communications - ASG01125

Perform system design and architecture development for tactical, secure, state-of-the-art military communications systems operating in the 2MHz - 2GHz frequency range.

* Lead requirements derivation and analysis, system specification and design, functional partitioning, and system architecture definition.
* Lead development of system test, validation, and integration plans.
* Work with business development to define and develop operational requirements, system requirements, system concepts, cost and schedule, risk assessments, and trade studies for proposals.

BSEE, BSCS or relevant. Experience in overall software radio communications architecture designs, including RF, digital, software, secure, and networking applications.

Active Secret ot Top Secret clearance would be given priority.


Principal Systems Engineer - Land Mobile Radios - ASG01189

Direct system design and architecture development for secure, state-of-the-art land mobile radios:

* Lead requirements derivation and analysis, system specification and design, functional partitioning, and system architecture definition.
* Lead development of system test, validation, and integration plans on projects.
* Work with business development to define and develop operational requirements, system requirements and concepts, cost and schedule, risk assessments, and trade studies for proposals.

Desired Skills Include:

* Software Defined Radio communications architecture design, including RF, digital, software, secure and networking applications (land mobile radio is a plus).
* Implementation knowledge of the Project 25 waveform.
* Familiarity with advanced networking analysis tools such as OPNET/Modeler.
* BSEE or relevant (MSEE a plus)



Principal Systems Engineer - Joint Tactical Radio Systems - ASG01805

Lead system design and architecture for tactical, secure, state-of-the-art communications systems operating in the 2 to 2800 MHz range.

* Lead requirements derivation and analysis, system specification and design, functional partitioning, and system architecture definition.
* Lead development of system test, validation, and integration plans on projects.
* Work with business development to define and develop operational requirements, system requirements and concepts, cost and schedule, risk assessments, and trade studies for proposals.

Desired Skills Include:

* Software Defined Radio communications architecture design, including RF, digital, software, secure and networking applications (JTRS SCA exp is a plus).
* Familiarity with advanced networking analysis tools such as OPNET/Modeler.
* BSEE or relevant (MSEE a plus).



Satellite Payload Systems Engineer - ASG03938

Concept development and detailed design lead for both system and subsystem level activities. Position encompasses restricted programs involving high reliability satellite payloads utilizing RF, analog, digital and software technologies. Responsibilities will include:

* Perform requirements analysis and decomposition of customer specifications
* Develop system concepts and design solutions from customer functional requirements
* Drive the evolution of future communication systems functionality.

Skills Required:

BSEE or relevant (MSEE is a plus) and 10+ years of recent and directly related systems engineering experience, including experience with communications systems hardware and satellite communications architectures. Will interface with customers, project management, marketing and hardware/software design engineering.

Must be a US citizen and eligible to qualify for a US Security Clearance, and ultimately pass an extended background investigation (TS/EBI).


Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems Engineer (3 openings) - ASG03733

Lead systems engineering development for next generation Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) programs.

* Analyze strategic opportunities (new business, technology advancements, etc.) for both current and proposed programs, and support generation of white papers and proposals.
* Develop system architectures, requirements, and CONOPS in support of customer needs statements.
* Provide technical oversight of internal and external development teams to ensure designs meet requirements.
* Define and manage technical risks, and interface with management and customers on technical issues.

BS - Engineering (or relevant) and 10+ years of related experience, including 5 years experience with SIGINT systems design, and technical leadership of interdisciplinary engineering teams. Tactical Communications and Mobile ground systems integration experience is also a plus.

US Citizenship required, active clearances preferred.


Security Systems Engineer - ASG01126

Provides customers with the infrastructure and systems integration skills they need to process, communicate, protect and manage information effectively. It has established a global presence in specialized data acquisition and processing, in advanced electronics, and in the wireless and wireline battlespace information networks and management systems.

Participate in all phases of system development as a senior systems engineer.

Support additional business pursuit and system development efforts in the field of Encryption. Assist in the strategy definition and implementation. Apply knowledge from a broad range of information security and engineering disciplines to develop high assurance system solutions. Interface and work with customers, users, the security community, and project teams to define, analyze and meet customer needs. Lead team for integration, troubleshooting and testing of cryptographic equipment.

BSEE. Experienced systems engineer with a DoD communication system background, prior DOD or military experience a plus· Requires interfacing with customers directly.

Ability to think outside the box and help customer develop visionary approaches by apply emerging technologies as the solution set.· Experience in any of the following: INFOSEC, COMSEC, Cryptographic Algorithms (symmetric and public key) and Protocols, Key Management, PKI, COMPUSEC, Common Criteria, DITSCAP, Certification, Accreditation, Multi Level Security, Network Security, Guards/Firewalls.

Must have an existing or recently expired Secret or Top Secret clearance.


Senior Systems Engineer / Encryption - ASG01127

Participate in all phases of system development as a senior systems engineer. Support IRAD efforts, business pursuit and system development efforts in the field of high assurance. Apply knowledge from a broad range of information security and engineering disciplines to develop high assurance system solutions.

Work with customers, users, the DoD security community, and project teams to define, analyze, and meet customer needs either in the execution of a program. Provide leadership and expertise in applying systematic processes to trade study, analysis, design, implementation, integration and test activities. Involves technology development and senior systems engineering skills. Requires a minimum of 5 years of communication system and/or information system design. A minimum of 2 years of secure system design.

High speed digital hardware design experience is a must. Network architecture and development a plus. Optical hardware related design experience is a plus. Experience applying information security principles (authentication, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation) to design and integrate secure networks. Expertise in one or more areas of information security technology including cryptography, key management, authentication mechanisms, multilevel networks, malicious code monitoring, intrusion detection, firewalls, protection policies, and security assessment.



Senior Systems Engineer - Communications / Security Systems - ASG01128

Participate in all phases of system development as a senior communications/security systems engineer. Support additional business pursuit and system development efforts in the field of space based, high assurance communication systems architectures. Apply knowledge from a broad range of communications systems and engineering disciplines to develop high assurance communication systems solutions. Work with customers, users, security community and project teams to define, analyze and meet customer needs. Provide leadership and expertise in applying systematic processes to trade study, analysis, design, implementation, integration and test activities.

Experienced systems engineer with a DoD communication system background. Define and analyze new and existing communications architectures to support data transmission over LANS, WANS, telecommunication and RF mediums using commercial and DOD specific protocols and message sets. Capable of developing DOD C4ISR architecture framework views as a representation of the systems architecture group. Capable of being a key contributor in the generation of proposals for the US DoD, US DoE to secure new business on future programs in the secure communications arena. Requires interfacing with customers and flowing customer requirements down to engineering teams. Ability to think outside the box and help customer develop visionary approaches by apply emerging technologies as the solution set.

Experience in: INFOSEC, COMSEC, Cryptographic Algorithms (symmetric and public key) and Protocols, Key Management, PKI, COMPUSEC, Common Criteria, DITSCAP, Certification, Accreditation, Multi Level Security, Network Security, Guards/Firewalls Experience and/or expertise with the following standards, technologies, and disciplines: TCP/IP, LDAP, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.11, IEEE 802.15, IEEE 802.16, X.509, PKIX, PKCS, IPSEC, TLS, PGP, FIPS 140-2, AdHoc networking.


Systems Engineer / Networks - ASG01136

Requirements analysis and architecture development for communications products deployed in military tactical voice and data networks. Work within a team environment to analyze networking CONOPS, provide allocations and contribute to the specifications for radio products operating within the networks. Work across radio hardware and software domains to assess impacts of network CONOPS and evaluate performance of radio product solutions.

Candidate must have 10 years of related experience. Must have a thorough understanding of networks and/or communication systems concepts including analog and digital architectures, link analysis (OPNET skills a must) and system trade-off studies. CMM-I engineering process is highly desired. A good understanding of computer networking and routing including knowledge of legacy military systems, IP based systems, OSI network protocols, analog and digital communication infrastructures (CDMA, GSM, 3G, etc.) and data network experience is desired. Knowledge of network security and management is also desired.



Systems Engineers / Human Machine Interface - ASG01143

Serve as Systems Engineering lead for Human Machine Interfaces design and implementation. Work as a member of the Systems Engineering team defining and deriving requirements, and overseeing the implementation of the HMI, including GUI design. Ability to work in a multi-contractor, team environment, coordinating activities with the rest of the program organization.

BSCS/EE plus at least 10 years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in system and equipment design or ergonomics. An understanding of requirements flow down process is required. Experience in the design of menu systems (in a radio environment) is desired. Knowledge of HMI related software, such as HTML and HTTP protocols is a plus.

Leadership skills.


Systems Engineer - Naval Communications - ASG01176

Provide senior level Systems Engineering support for Naval Communications programs including requirements analysis, detailed design and development, systems integration and acceptance, including:

* Integration of commercial telecommunications technologies (e.g. TCP/IP-based networking voice-over IP services, etc) into naval applications considering the impacts on security issues maintaining quality of service parameters, etc.
* External Communications performance modeling and analysis, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to ensure system performance and mitigate risk.
* Inter/Intra Systems interface management, including Data Exchange Specifications.
* Total, integrated communications systems design, development and integration.
* Link budget analysis, propagation prediction, co site analysis, and related work.

BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years related Systems Engineering experience (Naval or other military communications experience is a strong plus). Experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies, next generation waveforms, RF networking technologies (Wideband Networking Waveform, Stanag 5066, etc), advanced integrated conformal mast antenna technologies, etc.

RF conditioning and distribution systems design, such as RF switching technologies, broadband systems, power amplifiers, multicouplers, hybrid combining, etc.
